    We schedule a first meeting with the client and we aim to identify what is the problem or innovation request that the company is looking for. We then build and send a complete, free of charge work plan, as above mentioned, containing also the terms of the collaboration.

    We build a report containing:

    Contextualization in the market – market share analysis, key national and international players strategic analysis (SWOT analysis and Porter analysis), competitive landscape forecast, innovative products currently in the market and further opportunities for innovation.

    Laboratorial product development and product performance

    Laboratory product developement

    The developments start in the professional kitchen lab, where we produce new products and permanently analyze them in terms of:

    • Sensorial and quality control: aroma, aspect, flavour, pH, volatile acidity, total acidity, sweetness, texture, viscosity, et
    • Cost control: how much is the cost of the several formulas and how can we make the best possible product with the lower cost
    • Stability control: phase separation observation, colloidal control, centrifugation, microbiological count
    • Patentability oriented experiments

    The experiments can carry on advanced food chemistry, life sciences and computer laboratories, where we develop:

    • Advanced food chemistry analysis: molecular analysis, colloidal and rheological profile of the foodstuff, using techniques such as HPLC, DLS, GC-MS, FTIR, rheology, etc
    • In-vitro analysis: study of in-vitro food-driven metabolic mechanisms, molecular in-vitro investigation and compound toxicity survey with human cells
    • Análises ex-vivo: ex-vivo studies with extracted tissues for the assessment of molecular mechanisms and functional effectiveness.
    • In-vivo analysis: in-vivo research with animal models for the assessment of molecular mechanisms and functional effectiveness.
    • Análises in-silico: highly advanced super computer studies allowing for the research and development of in-silico food and drinks molecules and patentable formulas.

    Pannel evaluation

    We can additionally submit the developed product to a pannel of target consumers and collect their opinion regarding their preference for this product over a competitor.

    Activity 4

    Factory implementation and scaling-up

    We follow-up and integrate all the scaling-up activities in the factory

    Activity 5

    Patent writing

    We will write the national and international (PCT) patent for the developed innovation

    Activity 6

    Commercial follow-up

    We will accompany the client in key meetings with business partners and distributors.
