The World of Drinks is a set of courses with focus in the raw materials and their processing, fermentation management, technical troubleshooting, sensorial analysis and professional quality control. The World of Drinks courses are held in CFER’s kitchen lab and in partner facilities.
In these courses the student will learn how to technically and critically prepare a food pairing menu of wine or beer, acquiring scientific skills for the pairing of the menu. The actual meals
and their pairings are tasted during the course. The Food Pairing Courses take place in the kitchen lab of CFER and in a partner lab.

In this course the student will have the opportunity to learn how to operate several advanced equipments for food and drinks chemistry research, attaining the necessary critical and scientific knowledge to develop innovative food and drinks for the marketplace. The course takes place in all of CFER’s premises and partner labs, and includes business planning, market and strategic analysis, intellectual property and marketing modules.
